Engage

Partners in School Decision Making – Parents are partners in the decisions that affect children and families.
The Kapaa High School SCC and PTSA are the main two ways parents and community members participate in the decision making at Kapaa High School.

The Kapaa High Smaller Learning Community
With the winning of the Smaller Learning Communities Grant, becoming a partner of Kapaa High School is a new, additional way to be involved and invest in your community. Please find contact information for the Kapaa High PCNC at the top of this blog's main page..

Kapaa High- School Community Council
The Kapaa High School – School Community Council (SCC) welcomes public testimony at all of it’s regular meetings. If you would like to give public testimony on any subject relating to Kapaa High School, please contact the SCC Secretary or Chairperson. The SCC also hosts two (2) community meetings each year which are held specifically for parent input and feedback. Please see the SCC page for meeting dates.

Active participation in decision making is one of several ways to engage. Those that do not have the time or resources to be directly actively involved have the option to show their support of Kapaa High by supporting our charter organizations- the PTSA, and the Alumni Foundation.

Our PTSA
The Kapaa High PTSA plays a vital role in our school by sponsoring faculty and students, academic awards and recognition, campus improvement, and after school sports programs- just to name a few.

There are several ways to support the efforts of the PTSA:
  • Annual Membership:
  • Enroll in eScrip:
  • Actively Participate:
