Warrior Awards Inspired

Mahalo and congratulations to Athletic Director Greg Gonsalves, Principal Gilmore Youn and Assistant Athletic Director, Calvin Paleka for a successful Warrior Award Ceremony. Nearly 300 parents, students, coaches, and Warrior VIPs came out to relish and reflect on this successful year. Kapaa High ended the 2009-2010 KIF season with 9 titles. Our scholar-athletes, our 4-sport participants, and our KIF All-stars were all lauded. Also recognized were the many parents, guardians and community members who contribute countless hours in support of our student athletes, and Warrior athletics- Kapaa High PTSA and the Alumni Foundation among them.

This is the second year the Warrior Award Ceremony has been held at night as an "after dinner" family and community event. Mahalo to all the families that came out to share in experience. We hope Mr. Gonsalves continues this evening event, so look for it next year and spread the word!
